Pictures can say 1,000 words...
Life at Pittsburg State University is never that boring... Friends are always around and campus always has something going on. I love this campus and wouldn't change anything for the world!

Ok, an actual update is in store for you because I actually have time to put into this!!

First off, theres my guard.

We're freaking amazing. With everyones personalities and abilities with the flag, we rock. Like I've said before this is the first time we've had enough experience for rifles to do with the show. Also, the fact that we learned the show last week in a week (thats drill, routine, etc) and memorized speaks volumes for us. In the past years, I'm not sure if that could have happened. We'll see what will happen once again this next week as we double the amount that we have to do to get everything ready for the 1st.

Can you believe it's almost Halloween and therefore almost November already? I can't. However, SAI is helping with safe trick-or-treat... that means that I have to get a halloween costume for it. I haven't thought of anything... except handcuffing myself to a fake tree and calling myself a tree hugger or... well... Liberal. haha, j/k.

Speaking of SAI, one of our members gotcrowned our Homecomming queen. Miss Patty Condiff!! It was our first year ever really being involved with the Homecomming activities and to have OUR girl be picked as queen - it's amazing! It helped a lot that shes a drum major and had almost the entire band backing her... we have a large popluation of students... almost 200. If we put or mind to something, we're going to achieve it. Go Band! lol. This picture was taken after Yell Like Hell... which is why we were all bundled up. I think thats a blanket around me... Hmm...

Ladies and Gentlemen... Your queen. =)

Ah, yes. A final note to my entry (because my family is wanting to go get food) this is me and my cat. Her name is Ginger. She's a tad psycho, as my sister has pointed out, but really lovey when she wants to be. We got her from the SEK Humane Society... Rescue animals from there!!!

It's that time again for me, to figure out my class schedule for this next spring semester. Well,i figured something out - my official degree audit LIED. It told me I had 24 hours left... what they failed to mention is that it's 24 hours without my fraud exam minor tacked onto it. All together, it's 37. So i'm seriously debating on whether I should drop it or not. Its really interesting to me and everything, but I don't know if I'm willing to spend ANOTHER semester getting it. I'm really going to have to have a sit down chat with Julie, my advisor and talk to her about things. She'll probably support whatever I feel is necessary for me to get by less stressful, but if she wants that, she's also going to have to have a powwow with the entire justice studies and psych department and tell them not to conflict a lot of classes.

There are 2 classes at 10 that I want/have to take.
There are 2 classes at 11 that I want/have to take and/or retake.
There are 2 classes at 12 that I want/have to take.

Umm... hello? Can I hear a 'Hell Ya!' for people who want their classes not at the same time so they're able to take them and still be done in less than 10 years?

Ok, sorry guys, I'm just frustrated. I've spent my entire office hour working on figuring out my schedule... and got no where except I found out that I have 37 instead of 24 hours left. I really REALLY REALLY think I'll be taking off that fraud minor. It's difficult enough already. I'm overly involved and have no time as it is.

This ranting lady is out. She has class to get to in 13 minutes.

Later Loves!

Well, this weekend was a blast. Ok, well, I take that back. The GAME was a blast! We rocked (so I've heard from several sources) and the mass bands were awesome and I didn't hear much if any of the usual tempo problems that usually end up occuring. Props to everyone involved!

The only bad thing is that I'm still really tired from it still. I mean, like, I could go to bed right now and it's only 6pm tired. Oh well.

We have about 2 days left until Fall Break. I'm excited about it... really. lol. On sat I get to go to Manhatten for the OU/KSU game... GO SOONERS! I'm going home on Thursday because of my Wednesday night class - wednesday night several of us are going to a spook trail in Joplin.

Ok, well, Going back to my original point of tiredness, I'm cutting this short. I may go sleep. Buuuut who really knows. =)

Later, loves!

Well, its the beginning of homecomming week here at Pitt. It really doesn't seem like it should have been this much time go by already. Like, I shouldn't be this far along in my first semester of my senior year. I can't wait, really. This week is going to be fun. Well, despite no SAVE activity going on this week, there's Yell Like Hell at the field, which I absolutely cannot wait for, the PHS game on fri, and then our game on Sat. Which is the mass band. Crazy, chaotic, and sometimes just a tad nerve wrecking, the mass band should be fun. What I mean  by mass band is that our PSU marching band invites several different high schools from around the area to come and join us on our field and preform for OUR crowd in the jungle. They usually enjoy it, so I've heard, but getting it all prepared takes a bit of doing. Because of our last few shows, it's been SO busy. All these home games right in a row don't let us prepare a show very much. take as an example, we put a new show on the field for this past sat in a week. For us, that was learning a new rifle/flag routine (making it up in the first place), teaching it, perfecting it, and of course, learning a 20 set marching drill. It was fun. haha.

the only bad part was that my right knee has still been bothering me, i've hit my left knee enough with my rifle that it's bruised and kinda painful, and my rt wrist has been bothering me because of rifle as well. like on saturday... the first run through of eustancia... the first toss in the routine i caught wrong and my wrist hurt me all day after that. I've been told the song looked good and that we were awesome (first time doing rifle on field since I've been here... idk if they did it before that).

Ok, so well, i'm in the U-club, waiting for 11 for class. boring, ya.

later.

I'm sitting in my office hour for ambassadors, thinking of all that needs to be done.

SAVE/SART/MVP is doing sillouettes in the oval and I should be out there helping. However, wednesdays are my hell days and I have no time to do anything, let alone sit in the oval all day. I feel really bad about it, but ya. I need to talk to Julie about this.

I have class at 9, 11, 1, and 3 with my office hour now (10) and practice at 2. the only hour i have off it noon. who needs to eat? haha.

I'm so incredibly frustrated with life though. I'm too busy with class and guard. This week and next week are not going to be fun...

JSSA, SAVE, Ambassadors, SAI, Class, PHS Guard, PSU Guard... Too many directions, so little time.

The theme to this entry? Manage your time wisely, kids. Don't pull me, a susie serial joiner.

Later, loves...
